Just thought you might care to see a few cracks at giving Brammo a new visual identity.
The Enertia powercycle is born of a juxtaposition of two very rich histories. Think of it as the soul of a cafe racer motorcycle injected into the form of some new, cutting edge technological hardware. To do this marriage justice is difficult, especially in a quick turn-around fashion. Digging for inspiration was key.
We looked to successful marks and logotypes from all sorts of categories: motorcycles, automobiles, computers, videogames, athletic teams… basically anything that we felt successfully demonstrated energy, movement, and timelessness.
Brammofan has already pointed out my seemingly demonic scribblings at the onset of brainstorming. The image below represents a later phase in the creation process. Bear in mind none of these are set in stone. Just consider it a small glimpse at some of the creative endeavors #behindbrammo.
